1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small pieces of information that websites can ask a browser to store and send back with later requests. Local storage is a related browser technology, but its contents are not automatically attached to every request. This policy covers both because the purpose of storing information on your device matters more than its technical label.
Curviowonderhive’s own website code currently sets no HTTP cookies. It uses one first-party localStorage entry to remember your privacy decision. There are no embedded advertising networks, analytics scripts, third-party map widgets or social-media tracking buttons. Typography uses system fonts, and scripts are supplied with the site. Photographs are loaded from Unsplash’s external image service; these requests are described below and in our privacy policy.
2. Current storage inventory
The table describes this release, including optional categories that are offered as controls but are not currently connected to any tool. An inactive category should not be read as evidence that data is being collected.
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | curvio-consent-v1Curviowonderhive localStorage, not a cookie | Remembers category choices, timestamp and policy version. No personal identifier. | Valid for 180 days; removed or renewed on a later visit after expiry. |
| Analytics | None installed | No audience measurement or session recording runs. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None installed | No optional embedded services or saved travel lists run. | Not applicable |
The essential record remains on your device and is not sent to our server by our script. Browser storage may remain physically present until the site next checks it or you delete it, even after the 180-day validity period has ended.
Photographs are requested from images.unsplash.com when they load. These are external content requests, not entries created by our localStorage script. The image provider receives ordinary connection information, and your browser may cache image files according to its settings and the provider’s response headers. All photograph elements use a no-referrer policy. Our optional-category controls do not block image requests or manage browser caching; see Unsplash’s privacy policy for the provider’s practices.
3. What the banner buttons do
Accept All records an affirmative choice for both optional categories. Reject Non-Essential records those categories as disabled. Preferences opens individual controls so you can save a mixed choice. Essential preference storage remains enabled so that we can remember either acceptance or rejection equally.
Because optional tools are absent, accepting does not currently initiate any analytics or additional optional storage. We will update this policy and request a fresh decision before introducing materially different non-essential processing. Closing a browser, scrolling or continuing to read is not treated as acceptance. If you make no selection, optional categories remain disabled.
Use the Cookie preferences button in any footer to revise or withdraw your selection. Choices apply to the current browser and website origin, not every device you own. A different browser, private window or cleared storage may show the banner again. If storage is blocked, we can respect your choice for the open page but may be unable to remember it after navigation.
4. Browser opt-out and deletion
You can delete site data without contacting us. Browser menus vary by version, but the following routes are typical. Removing data for this domain clears the saved choice; blocking all site storage can prevent it from being saved again. Blocking only third-party cookies may leave our first-party localStorage entry untouched.
- Chrome: open Settings, then Privacy and security, then the site-data controls under Third-party cookies or Site settings. Find curviowonderhive.lol and delete its stored data.
- Firefox: open Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, then Manage Data. Select this domain and remove it.
- Safari on macOS: open Settings, Privacy, then Manage Website Data. Search for the domain and remove it. On iPhone or iPad, website data controls are under Safari settings, Advanced.
- Microsoft Edge: open Settings, Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data. View stored site data and remove this domain.
Private-browsing modes usually discard storage when the private session ends. Browser help documentation is the best source if your menus differ. No sale or advertising sharing occurs here, so a Global Privacy Control signal does not need to disable any such processing.
5. External websites and questions
Official tourism and transport links take you to independent websites that may use their own cookies. Our preference controls cannot manage those destinations. Read their notices before using embedded services, accounts or bookings there.
For questions about this inventory or a storage item you believe is associated with our site, contact [email protected] and identify the item without sharing sensitive browser data.
